I write contemporary romance filled with heart, humour, and plenty of chemistry. When I’m not writing love stories or reading them, I’m usually dreaming about my next trip somewhere with deep, fascinating history. Ancient Egyptian history is a particular favourite, although honestly I’ll happily fall down almost any historical rabbit hole. 

I firmly believe dessert is the most important meal of the day, preferably something involving meringue. I would also love to speak French one day, despite having absolutely no talent for languages. And I stand by the belief that mornings are best used for sleeping in. When I’m not writing, I enjoy long walks on the beach in any weather, reading romance (a surprising number of my favourite authors seem to be called Kate), and travelling whenever I get the chance. I also have a completely irrational fear of cauliflower and cried the first time I saw an elephant in the wild, something my children still remind me about to this day. 

I live in Sydney with my husband, two of my three grown children, a couple of cats, and some very demanding kookaburras.
